Multiple Device Types

Standard, Fog, DMX, Maestro, Timed, and Audio

Built for Displays

Designed for Halloween and seasonal prop control

How Dead Link Works

Dead Link uses a wireless master controller and individual receiver nodes placed at each prop or effect. The master sends commands to the receivers over its local wireless network, allowing you to trigger props without running long trigger wires through your yard or display.

Connect
Power the receiver and connect it to the prop trigger.

Assign
Assign the receiver to a device position and choose its type.

Run
Trigger manually or use Random or Sequential mode.

Dead Link Device Types

Standard — Quick trigger for most Halloween props.

Fog — Timed control for compatible fog machines.

DMX — Control DMX channels and values.

Maestro — Trigger sequences or movements through a Pololu Maestro.

Timed — Delay-and-run control for effects that need to stay active for a set time.

Audio — Wireless control of track selection, volume, playback, and looping.

Power Options

Always verify voltage and polarity before connecting power. Do not assume all props use the same voltage or connector wiring.

Master Requirements & Saving Settings

The Dead Link Master uses a 32 GB microSD card to save configuration and timing information.

32 GB microSD Required — Install a 32 GB microSD card in the CYD Master before normal use.

What It Saves — Device settings, timing values, and other saved configuration data are stored on the card.

If Settings Don’t Save — Check that the microSD card is installed correctly and being recognized by the Master.
